New Orleans - The US Venice
She's a bit wet in New Orleans at the moment. Sales of canoes must be on the rise.
I don't think Venice's sewerage system has 'backed up', has it? That is the worst part about these kinds of disasters. Who would want to swim in it, SCUBA gear or no?

Thanks Wendi. Good suggestion. Maybe SCUBA gear as well. Not too many surfboards perhaps.

I hear that there are plenty of people practicing their floating skills. Even several days after the disaster first occurred.
