Bombing In India - An Answer From A Young 'Un

On the news last night we saw some graphic footage of the devastation caused by bombs in India. Yu-Jin wanted to know what happened and then what was going to be done about it. Would they drop a bomb on the people that committed the crime? He's obviously referencing the A-Bomb Museum in Nagasaki and thinks that people should be punished for their wrongdoings. A little bit finalistic though. Bit difficult to explain that many innocent people would die as a result.

This may be the opportunity to mention this observation of mine. Before 911, most TV series were self-contained episodes, and we got used to problems being resolve between 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs. But now Hollywood have to teach us again that problems are not solved in 3 hrs. So we have the LOTR trilogies a span of 3 years, Lost, and the rest which keep us waiting and waiting to get to the resolution.

It may have been stretched to 24 Hours by Hollywood but not much longer than that.

Ugh...just another one of those difficult conversations that parents have to have with their children. I don't envy you, Hammy.

It's not as difficult to talk about people getting blown up as it is talking about making babies.
