It worries me to see a sticker, like the one below, on our bus service. What has our society become if spitting is such a problem that Transperth goes to the expense of purchasing DNA kits, and training their drivers to use them, on our local buses?
I'm staggered.

this is due to some incident about a year ago when somebody spat on a bus driver, I think it was a female from memory...
anyway, there was a furore as she could have had hep B or some other illness that can be transmitted via saliva...
um.......
I think issuing our bus drivers with tazers would have more of an effect on the deadbeats that use the public transport system and try to ruin it for everyone else with their disgusting behaviour.
It did not say anything about pissing, pooping or .....well that other thing that cums out in the 'heat' of the moment. So I guess those are ok right?
