Frugal Bastard's Complete Gem Destruction in Bejeweled Blitz

I managed to destroy all of the gems in Bejeweled Blitz this morning. The Boy did it a few months back and we've not managed to replicate that feat until now. Watch the video to find out how it's done. Not a terribly fantastic score by any means but enjoyable gem destruction.

Crunch Ball 3000

The Boy found a new game this morning - Crunch Ball 3000. It's on gamesfreak.com. Funny how it's a new game but resembles that absolute classic on the Commodore Amiga by the Bitmap Brothers - Speedball. I used to love that game and this isn't quite as good but a bit of fun all the same.

Online Games - World Domination

Anybody remember that classic game on the Commodore Amiga called Nuclear War? Well, The Boy and I found a new version of it in an online game - World Domination. We played it twice and ended up winning from an almost hopeless position. Our opponents were Fidel Castro, Vladimir Putin, Colonel Ghaddafi and some Chinese guy.

Actually, I prefer the original game. Especially when you can launch the Bovine Bomb at Ronnie Raygun, Gorbachef, P.M. Satcher, Infidel Castro and the like.

Pretty cool game that The Boy found this morning - QWERTY Warriors. You have to shoot the enemy by typing the word beneath them and firing. It certainly builds your typing skills. I scored 59350 on medium.

The Boy found a couple of cool games that we played this weekend.

Weapons of M47H5 Destruction - Weapons of Maths Destruction (If you're having trouble deciphering it). I scored 214 which was enough for 14th position on the all-time list but the submission didn't work. Don't you hate that?

Commando 2 - bit of a neverending arcade-style shoot 'em up game.

The Boy found another cool online game today. Wait a minute, no he didn't. I chose it. It's called Bubble Trouble 2 - see if you can get past level 27 (that's where we got stuck).

Warning - it's a very addictive game.

Ever wanted to be a gladiator? The Boy found a decent online game and he's better than me. He made it to level 12 and I think my best is level 9. I've lost to Son of Stylonius in the third tournament whereas he's defeated him and made it to level 12. Check it.

Boxhead has been a favourite of Yu-Jin and I for quite some time. Well, it appears that the latest version, Boxhead: The Zombie Wars, is the best yet from Sean T Cooper.

Jungle Defender - Beat My Score

Playing online games with the boy this morning and he chose to play Jungle Defender. You have a hut and a family to protect in the jungle. The zombies are attacking you. The more money you obtain the better weapons and defence you can buy. I became a bit bored after 50 levels. By 75 levels I was ready to give and I thought I'd go to 100 levels. Could have gone on forever but I'd been playing for about two hours and so just let them kill me. Ralph Shrock - I could have you on toast if so inclined.
