Don't fall victim to scam emails. I haven't bought anything from Amazon for years. Then, out of the blue, an email arrives, in my junk mail as I've set the account to exclusive, i.e. only receive emails from contacts in my list, telling me that I've cancelled an order. Seeing as Hotmail allows you to view unsafe emails in a relatively safe manner I decided to check it out. Both of the hyperlinks in the email lead to http://admixturesinc.com/poisonous.html - surely that would be enough of a wake up call if you were going to be redirected there. I certainly won't be checking it out any further as the results could be disastrous. Be careful online and with emails people.
I'm known as a Frugal Bastard as I'm careful with my money and don't like wastage. I travel a bit, take lots of photos, make videos and like sharing my own silly opinions on stupid things and spelling mistakes that I discover in the media. Political comment and satire have a place close to my heart. I also major in sarcasm.

A Malaysian Scam With A Thailand Email
Here's a twist on the old Nigerian scam. I received an email with a message from a lawyer called Michael Soo from Malaysia. Soo, or should that be "Sue", what a great name for a lawyer. He also provides a Thailand email address to contact him on. Ok, the guy isn't asking for any banking details but if you are silly enough to respond then he knows that your email address is legitimate and then he can groom you and get to know more about you. Don't respond to this sort of rubbish. It's just a scam and there's a large degree of social engineering about to come your way to obtain your personal details. The phone number provided uses Malaysia's calling code.

Funny Email
I just received an email talking about some bike pics. I noticed that the email address was similar to mine so I can see where the mistake was made and I received it instead. What made me really laugh was that he signed it "Joshy Poo". I couldn't help but send him an email and take the piss.
G'day Joshy Poo, if you're reading.

Waiting For God
Went to a friend's house last night with the boy so that we could have pizza for tea and his friend could come back to our house last night for a sleepover. My friend has a new computer and wanted to set up his email account. I had a go but kept getting an error regarding and incorrect username and/or password therefore he was unable to receive email. The funny thing about that was that I managed to send an email using the same username and password combination. I'll let him talk to his ISP's help to sort it out.
Even funnier is that although I was unable to configure his email account I was able to order pizzas online from Dominos Pizza. Go figure that one out!
Anyway, back to the subject. There is a monitor that tells you the name of people having ordered pizzas in the shop and it indicates how long until yours is ready. If I'd waited another eight minutes after collecting my pizzas I could have seen God. Well, somebody called God had ordered some pizzas. Thinking that rather than them getting cold and upsetting my friend and the kids I decided against waiting for God.
Being an athiest I don't think he would have shown up anyway. And Pizza Hut do a nicer Supreme pizza than Dominos. But the Tony Pepperoni and Capriciosa are hard to go past, I have to admit.
